I entered December 13 2017 and I was doing 150-200 MG per day oxy. I have nothing but praise for this treatment center. Aaron and his staff are unbelievable, as they really do care. First two days as expected were tough physically, but then the mental part starts and that’s where they stepped up their game. Everybody from the van driver to the cooks is there to talk to you and it seems like they totally understand what you’re going through. I am 100% clean since I got out and I’m actively working out every day I just feel great. When I think about where I was this time last year and I can only feel thankful And proud of NOVUS and myself. I highly recommend Novus Medical Detox Center in New Port Richey, FL. All aspects of experience were extremely positive. I did my research but the results were far beyond my expectations. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive during my entire stay. I loved the natural supplements, vitamins and daily IV specialized for your addiction along with medications. The food was healthy and delicious, they even provided made to order breakfast. You will never go hungry here. Patient to staff ratios were excellent. Novus staff worked with me to find a 30 day rehab both in network and out and explained the living situations and what to expect. They also made personal suggestions that fit my current lifestyle situation. I left feeling totally reborn and rejuvenated and 9 days later I still do. Once again, I would highly recommend Novus Medical Detox Center to anyone that is seeking help. Their program worked for me and I will be forever grateful for the help and guidance they provided me. This place helped me get my life back. Cant say enough good things about this place staff was awesome. I would recommend anyone who wants to get help this is the place to go. Had a 12yr run going and went here and once I left detox I've ain't never look back only been about 5 months and I've almost got everything back I lost in past few yrs back in such a short period of time. After going to a detox facility that treated the patients punitively and had absolutely no empathy and compassion, I was reluctant to trust another detox. Thanks to Paul Weiss who kept reaching out to me on a monthly basis to see if I had received help, I decided to trust Novus. I am so glad that I made that leap of faith. I have never been treated so well by staff. They are truly there to help you with the utmost compassion and dedication. The atmosphere is relaxed, detox modalities are state of the art and on the cutting edge. This makes it comfortable and stress free. Everyone from kitchen staff, housekeeping, the nurses, counselors are there for you. Anytime you need to talk or feel anxious they are truly present. I will always hold Novus in high regard. They saved my life. Do not hesitate one minute. You will feel safe and cared for.

At first I was skeptical about Novus after reading some of the reviews that they were affiliated with Scientology, however, that could not be further from the truth. I came to Novus to detox of a high dose of methadone, heroin, cocaine, and benzo habit. I was nervous and initially I didn't trust the staff, but after spending my 11 days in detox I couldn't believe that I experienced very little withdrawal symptoms and most importantly I slept every night. I had detoxed off methadone 3 times before and was in agony for 2 months. Every staff/employee at the center truly had my best interest in mind. So disregard all the reviews with ties to Scientology and trust and communicate with the staff and I promise it will be the best experience detoxing you will be comfortable. Also, the facility is very clean and the bedrooms are the best I've ever experienced and I've been to dozens of detox centers.

I highly recommend Novus Medical to anyone seeking treatment in Florida. Once you leave here go to a different state for other levels of care. This place is indeed an oasis in a recovery desert.

They helped save my life. The staff truly cares about everyone. The detox setting is set up so comfortable and the taper is great; not too slow and not too fast. They don't push you to do anything you don't want to do and everyone is so understanding. The patients became close at the most rawest time of their lives together, while I was there. I seriously recommend them to everyone who needs the detox. They know what they're doing there, just give them that trust.

I've been dealing with Novus for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed. Everything is as advertised and promised. Clients are monitored 24/7, great staff, feed well and very comfortable. Thank you Novus!!!!

This place saved my life. I never could've detox from methadone on my own. The entire staff goes out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Everything was as close to perfect as it could be. I arrived as a totally broken waste of a person and left after only FIVE nights completely clean. I was crazy out of control and addicted to oxy, xanax and alcohol. I don't even recall hardly anything about the first two days because they made me so comfortable. When I had no interest in eating they brought something to my room and coaxed me into trying to eat something. I'm a hotel snob but was super pleased with the facility. It is immaculate, modern and luxourous. Forget about wasting time comparing all the other options because this is the place to go.

Amazing staff. I've been to quite a few detox facilities and this by far is the most luxurious. I was greeted upon arrival by a team of very kind individuals - most being in recovery themselves. The intake was thorough and they give you the right amount of detox medication. A lot of times people will over medicate or under medicate- but because I was honest with the amount I used, I detoxed in a little less than 6 days. While I still have some post acute symptoms I am maintaining a drug free life and am on the right path to become a productive member of society. Novus was the first step in that process. If you are considering Novus, you won't be disappointed. Call them.

I have been struggling with addiction for a long time, but I have had the fortunate experience to not feel like a "junkie" when I've detoxed at Novus. The staff takes excellent care of their patients and they go above and beyond to keep everyone comfortable. They also help set up aftercare after you are discharged and if you ever need to come back like I have, their doors are always open.

I have referred many people to Novus Detox and have always been impressed by the high level of care and professionalism people receive there. The Novus protocols are like no one else's, truly unique, and achieve really safe and comfortable detoxification, while usually making a person even healthier than before they became dependent on drugs or alcohol.
